Kuala Lumpur, 18 January 2025 – foodpanda Malaysia hosted the Panda Fiesta, a landmark celebration to honour the crucial role of its delivery partners. The event showcased over RM350,000 in rewards for top performers and lucky winners, underscoring the platform’s unwavering commitment to its gig economy workforce.

The event highlighted exceptional achievements with 30 foodpanda walkers receiving brand-new scooters worth RM1,700 each. Additionally, RM250,000 in cash prizes was distributed to the top 500 riders, celebrating their outstanding 2024 performance based on clearly defined excellence criteria.

Strengthening Benefits Through Strategic Partnerships

A key announcement at the event was foodpanda Malaysia’s partnership with PERKESO, offering over 8,000 delivery partners coverage worth RM200,000.

Tan Ming Luk, Managing Director of foodpanda Malaysia, expressed gratitude for the delivery partners’ efforts.

The celebration hosted nearly 4,000 delivery partners and their families, offering a variety of engaging activities, including Tug-of-War, Giant Jenga, a Ghost House, and Pau-Pau Bingo featuring exclusive merchandise. Lucky draw prizes, including gold bars, smartphones, and household items worth RM40,000, added to the festivities. foodpanda partners—Nasi Lemak Saleha, PolicyStreet, Liqui Moly, Gracshaw-1, Kiddo Care, Courts Malaysia, Docs2U, Senarco, and AKPK contributed to the success of the event.
