Kuala Lumpur— The stage is being set for one of Malaysia’s most anticipated youth events of the year as preparations for JCI Inspire Fest 2025 move into full swing. Scheduled to take place from 18 to 20 April 2025 at Sunway Velocity Mall, the festival is expected to draw hundreds of young leaders, entrepreneurs, and community builders from across the country.
Jointly organised by JCI Entrepreneur Metropolitan (JCI E-Metro) and Radiant, the three-day event is designed to showcase the strength and potential of Malaysia’s youth in driving positive change — in business, society, and sustainability.
This year’s festival carries the theme “Young Hands, Leading Change, Building Tomorrow,” reflecting a broader effort to position young Malaysians not just as future leaders, but as active agents of transformation today. According to organisers, the event aims to raise public awareness of Junior Chamber International (JCI), while amplifying the impact of its award-winning members and initiatives.
The programme is divided into three themed days:
- Inspire Entrepreneur Day (18 April) will feature founders, startups, and young business leaders pushing innovation forward.
- Inspire Youth Day (19 April) will be officiated by YB Hannah Yeoh, Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, who is expected to address the importance of youth empowerment at the national level.
- Inspire Environment Day (20 April) will focus on sustainability, climate action, and the growing role of eco-enterprise.
Each day will include forums, ESG Power Talks, product and initiative showcases, and opportunities for intergenerational dialogue — all open to the public.
Beyond individual achievement, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) themes will feature prominently in this year’s festival. Several partners have been confirmed to support the programme’s ESG goals:
- Legacy Partners Sateera and HERSTORY Healthcare Foundation will showcase efforts in education, healthcare, and community empowerment.
- CSR & Social Good Partners MAE Global and MUSE Collection will focus on inclusive impact initiatives, especially those supporting women and underserved communities.
- ESG Partners EAS Academy and Rurutiki will bring forward discussions and demonstrations on sustainability and eco-conscious entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the official launch held at DSpace, Bukit Jalil, Friday Chua, Organising Chairman of JCI Inspire Fest, noted that the festival aims to connect Malaysians with the stories, values, and vision of the country’s young changemakers. “It’s more than a celebration — it’s a catalyst for connection and action,” he said.
As the countdown begins, JCI Inspire Fest 2025 is shaping up to be a dynamic convergence of youth energy, leadership, and purpose — with organisers hoping to leave a lasting impact not only on participants but on the wider public discourse around youth development in Malaysia.
