Kuala Lumpur, 12 November 2024 – The Al McKay Allstars delivered an extraordinary performance at the Mega Star Arena, paying homage to the iconic Earth, Wind & Fire with an enthralling musical experience. Fans were transported back to the golden age of funk, soul, and R&B as the band revived timeless hits like “Boogie Wonderland” and “Let’s Groove,” filling the venue with infectious energy and unforgettable rhythms.
Renowned for their genre-defying artistry, Earth, Wind & Fire’s legacy continues to inspire generations. Al McKay, one of the band’s original members and a co-writer of global favourites such as “September” and “Sing a Song,” has ensured these classics endure, resonating with audiences worldwide.
The evening began with a soulful opening performance by powerhouse vocalist Halida Ramlee, whose stirring voice set the tone for the night. Dato Yasmin Yusuff then took the stage to welcome the audience and highlight the event’s charitable collaboration with Badan Amal Kasih Sayang (BAKASA).
